Concept
TOWARD THE COEXISTENCE OF MAN AND NATURE
Saito(International Culture Park) is an urban development project being undertaken through the cooperative efforts of public and private organizations.
The basic aim of the project is to create an urban community in which people live in harmony with nature. The facilities included in the project will focus on research and development in the life sciences, and on international cultural and academic study and exchange. The project is envisioned as a new type of community that addresses some of the world's emerging social issues and trends, such as internationalization, the aging of society, and the information age.
The project focuses on these seven basic aims while bringing a visionary new urban community to metropolitan Osaka.
